About Blue Fin

We are an international yacht fairing company based in Plymouth, Devon applying specialist coatings
to the superyacht and marine industry.
Our dedicated team of 80+ people can locate to wherever a project is based.

Blue Fin was set up by Nick Barber in 1994 after completing several high profile jobs including
Jacqueline, a Bill Dixon 86ft wing mast sailing yacht and Wally B a 105ft innovative Italian designed fast
cruiser at Pendennis shipyard in Cornwall UK. In Viarragio, Italy we subcontracted to Benetti, completing
Lionheart and Amnesia, both 50m motor yachts. In the summer of 2000 we were also located in Dubai
at Albwardy.

Our mobile team have worked on some of the most prestigious projects in the yachting world.
We work closely with our clients to improve and streamline yacht paint application conditions and quality.
There is now a large demand for our consultancy division woldwide, for project management and on
tools experience.
